Basic Class Descriptions
These are all classes included in our basic membership.
Pilates: Focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced
and which are essential to providing support for the spine. These exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment
of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.
Yoga: The practice of allowing union of mind, body, and spirit. Poses are held for a series
of inhales and exhales as muscles lengthen and open. Various movements and balancing postures create strength, endurance, and
flexibility. The body detoxifies, stress is released, physical pain and illness reduced. Recommended for all fitness levels as
modifications are given for beginners and the more advanced. Will improve performance of you current workout!
Cardio Pump: Fast paced cardio weight training, working every muscle allowing for maximum
fat burn. We will incorporate steppers and weights. This class will reshape your body and bring your fitness to a new level.
Sweat: High intensity cardio exercise. Concentrating on body weight exercises
and incorporating medicine, balance, and BOSU balls.
Kickboxing: Get in shape while learning to kick and punch on the bag.
This cardio blasting class will help you burn fat and tone up with its interval training.
Cardio Boxing: Get a full body workout while learning the basic
principles of boxing from an actual boxer. Whether you compete or just want to get in shape, this class
will tone and increase your cardio to a new level.
Rise n' Shine: You will do all sorts of exercises energizing
your body for the remainder of the day.
Pi-Yo: Is an energetic fusion of Pilates & Yoga. It focuses on strength,
balance, and relaxation. Pi-Yo is for all levels and no experience.
Zumba: Dance yourself into shape! This class is Fun and exciting!
Enjoy a fusion of Latin and International music.
Fight Team/MMA Class Descriptions
Everyone is welcome to sign up whether you plan on competing or doing it just for fun.
Boxing Team: This class you will train with our amateur boxing
team. Learn the technique and conditioning for the sweet science of boxing.
MMA Training: This class focuses on training you to be proficient in the
aspects of MMA. Learning the offensive and defense of striking, takedowns, and ground work.
No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu: This grappling submission type of martial art
promotes the principle that smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger
stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique. Applying joint-locks and choke holds to defeat your opponent.
